Freedom and Responsibility: Sex Education in Secondary Schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou sexuální výchovy na středních školách. V teoretické části jsou přiblíženy aktuální změny v moderní společnosti, jakožto prostoru, ve kterém jedinci prožívají svůj partnerský a intimní život. Dále se teoretická část věnuje analýze oficiálních dokumentů, zabývajících se sexuální výchovou, včetně ukotvení této výchovy v rámci RVP. Součástí praktické části jsou rozhovory s učitelkami realizující sexuální výchovu. Cílem této části je zjištění, jakým tématům se v hodinách věnují, jaké si stanovují didaktické cíle a skrze jaké metody jich dosahují. Na základě komparace teoretické a praktické části je vytvořena didaktická příprava do hodin sexuální výchovy.

Abstract:

This master thesis focuses on the topic of sexual education in high schools. The theoretical part showcases the changes of the social environment where individuals experience their partner and intimate relationships. Furthermore, this section analyses official documentation concerning sexual education including its role in the FEP. The interviews with the teachers practicing sexual education are also included in this section. The goal of this part is to find out what themes the teachers are focusing on, what educational goals they are setting for themselves and the methods they use to achieve them. Didactic preparation for the sex Ed lesson is put together based on comparisons of the theoretical and practical parts.
