GDPR introduction and its influence on the organizational culture of Mladá Boleslav probation and mediation service centre

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na to, jaký vliv má zavedení GDPR na změnu organizační kultury Probační a mediační služby ve středisku Mladá Boleslav. Konkrétně tedy na to, jak zaměstnanci střediska v MB vnímali nařízení před a po zavedení, jaké změny s sebou GDPR přineslo, jak probíhal proces zavádění změn a následně poskytuje návrh řešení komunikace změn. Cíle bylo dosaženo prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu použitím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, analýzy dokumentů a zúčastněného pozorování v rámci supervidované praxe. Práce vymezuje pojem organizační kultury, její sílu, obsah a typologii. Zároveň identifikuje organizační kulturu PMS. Dále se zaměřuje na zavádění změn a rizikové faktory v průběhu změn. Výsledkem je zjištění postojů zaměstnanců a identifikace rizikových faktorů, kterými jsou komunikace, informovanost a postoje zaměstnanců ke změně, a jsou navržena opatření k jejich řešení.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis focuses on the way in which introducing the GDPR regulation has influenced the organizational culture of Probation and Mediation Office in Mladá Boleslav. In particular, the way the employees have perceived the regulation before and after its introduction, what changes has the introduction of the GDPR regulation brought, what the process of implementation of those changes has been and it subsequently provides suggestions as to how to communicate all the changes. The thesis objective has been achieved by a quantitative research with the aid of semi structured interviews, various documents analysis and attended observation within the framework of a supervised work experience. The thesis lays down the term of the organizational culture, its power and strength, its content and typology. It simultaneously identifies the organizational culture of the PMS. Furthermore, it focuses on implementing the changes and risk factors arising from facilitating these changes. The findings bring an illustration of the employees´ attitudes and identification of the risk factors, which are communication, awareness and the employees´ attitudes towards this change. Simultaneously various measures have been suggested in order to remove the risk factors.
