Abstract:
Ve své práci nejprve píšu o historii židovských obranných složek v Palestině a vzniku Izraelských obranných sil (IDF), abych zdůraznila podstatu a charakter izraelské armády. V další kapitole popisuju strukturu IDF, kdo je povinen sloužit v armádě a kdo neslouží. Následující kapitolu věnuji změnám, kterými IDF prošly. Abstract:
At first I describe history of Jewish defense forces in Palestine and the inception of the IDF to point out the nature and the character of the Israeli army. Another chapter says about the structure of the IDF, who is obligated to serve in the army and who does not serve. I dedicate the next chapter to the changes by which the IDF have gone through.
