Protection of personal rights on social media

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem „Ochrana osobnostních práv na sociálních sítích“ se zabývá především fenoménem internetových sociálních sítí a jejím možným působením respektive zásahům do práv třetích osob. Cílem předkládané diplomové práce je zejména přiblížení problematiky české právní úpravy, konkrétně osobnostních práv dle Nového občanského zákoníku, běžnému uživateli Internetu. Dále identifikace možných ohrožení a zásahů do osobnostních práv člověka, které přímo souvisí s používáním sociálních sítí a jejich kategorizování.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis titled "Protection od personal rights" is mainly focusing on phenomenon of social media on the internet and possible influence, or more precisely, their encroachment against third party rights. The main purpose of this diploma thesis is introduce matter of Czech legislation especially the part focusing on personal rights according to the new civil code to a regular internet user. Another aim od the thesis is identification of possible threats or violation of personal rights which relate to a use of social media and their categorization.
