The design of listening activities supporting the development of key competencies in a pupil

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with a question of the development of key competencies in a primary school pupil through the use of deliberately prepared listening activities in English language classes. It, then, focuses on the reduction of time required for the preparation of such listening activities with the use of a listening activities designing guide, which was created for this specific purpose. The guide should provide the use of particular tasks enhancing the key competencies. A research was conducted to verify proposed hypotheses, whose results show the plausibility of the hypotheses.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na otázku rozvoje klíčových kompetencí žáka základní školy skrze užití cíleně připravených poslechových aktivit v hodinách anglického jazyka. Dále se zaobírá otázkou redukce času nutného k přípravě takovýchto poslechových aktivit za pomocí průvodce přípravy poslechových aktivit vytvořeného právě pro tento účel. Tento průvodce by měl rovněž zajistit užití specifických cvičení rozvíjejících ony klíčové kompetence žáka. K ověření stanovených hypotéz byl proveden výzkum, jehož výsledky prokazují správnost kladených hypotéz.
