Current trends in grapevine breeding with Amur grape

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma „Současné trendy ve šlechtění révy vinné s révou amurskou je celkem rozdělena do 8 částí, kde je hlavním cílem představit odrůdy rodu Vitis amurensis Rupr. a V. vinifera L., specifikovat jejich vlastnosti včetně odolnosti vůči houbovým chorobám a mrazu. Na samotném začátku této bakalářské práce je zmíněno šlechtění od nejstarší domestikace až po moderní zpětné křížení či hybridizaci. Na konci této kapitoly je také zmíněn pan Mičurin, který je považován za předchůdce šlechtitelů s révou amurskou, díky němuž jsou i některé odrůdy pěstované přímo u nás v ČR. V další menší kapitole jsou popsány dvě hlavní choroby révy, před kterými se snaží šlechtitelé držet krok vpřed. Ze 3. kapitoly lze jasně vyčíst, že v podstatě úplná odolnost rostliny neexistuje, ale i přesto si réva po staletí buduje patřičnou ochranu díky svým rostlinným proteinům, enzymům a hormonům. Následuje okrajové popsání samotné révy vinné, která se dále dělí do 3 základních rodů Vitis, kde patří také Vitis amurensis, která je charakterizována hned v následujících částech této práce. Hlavní pozorností je závěrečná část, kde je réva standardně rozdělena na moštové, stolní a podnožové odrůdy, které v sobě mají geny z rodu V. amurensis, V. vinifera popřípadě i jiných. Kombinací vlastností těchto podrodů vznikají nejen velmi zajímavé a specifické odrůdy snášející určité typy chorob a teploty vysoko pod bodem mrazu, ale také odrůdy vhodné k výrobě opravdu kvalitního vína či oceněné přímými konzumenty ještě nezpracovaných bobulí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with „Current trends in the breeding of vines with Amur vines“. It is divided into 8 chapters, where the main goal is to present varietes of the genus Vitis amurensis Rupr. and Vitis vinifera L., specify their properties including resistence to fungal diseases and frost. In the first chapter of this bachelor thesis, the breeding itself is mentioned, from the oldest domesticaton to modern backcrossing or hybridization. In the final part of this charter there is mentioned Mr. Mičurin, who is considered to bet he ancestor of breeders with Amur vines. Thanks to him some varieties are grown in the Czech Republic. The next smaller chapter describes two most common diseases of the vine, the breeders try to keep a step forward. In third chapter, you can find out that there is no complete plant´s resistence, but for centuries the vine has built up adequate protection due to its plant proteins, enzymes and hormones. Next is a marginal description of the vine itself, shich is further divided into 3 basic species of Vitis, shich also included Vitis amurensis, that is characterized in the following chapters of this bachelor thesis. The main attention is the final part, where is the vine standardly dividend into wine-making, table or rootstock varieties, that contain genes from the genus V. amurensis, V. vinifera or others. The combination of characteristics of these two subgenuses create interesting and specific varieties tolerating certain types of diseases and very low or very freezing temperatures, but also varieties suitable for the production of high-quality wine or be awarded by direkt consumers of unprocessed grapes.
