First Land Reform in Czechoslovakia and the comparation of land in Pilsen region

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je pozemková reforma z období první republiky a její aplikace na případu Plzeňského kraje. Práce si klade za cíl především komplexně zanalyzovat prvorepublikovou pozemkovou reformu a zjišťuje, jaké byly příčiny pozemkových úprav v Československu, jaký vliv měly politické strany na jejich podobu, do jaké míry byla kritika pozemkové reformy legitimní a jaký měla tato reforma hospodářsko-sociální dopad. Dalším záměrem práce je prezentace pozemkové reformy na případu Plzeňského kraje.

Abstract:

The topic of this master's thesis is the first land reform in Czechoslovakia between 1919 and 1938. Other than a complex analysis of this reform, this thesis also shows the application in the Pilsen region. The aim of this study is to analyze the first republic reform. The thesis is finding out, what were the reasons of the land changes in Czechoslovakia; what influence did the political parties had at the form of the reform; to a what point was the land reform legit; and what political-economic results did the reform had. Another goal of this assessment is the presentation of the land reform in the Pilsen region.
