The influence of the variety of onion on its yield and quality

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma: „Vliv odrůdy cibule kuchyňské na její výnos a kvalitu“ se věnuje problematice jejího pěstování. Teoretická část popisuje botanickou charakteristiku cibule. Dále se zabývá nároky na prostředí a výživu. Popisuje způsoby pěstování ozimých a jarních variant cibule. Jsou zde popsány druhy sklizně, postupy při sklizni, skladovaní a jeho podmínky. V praktické části pak byly založeny dvouleté po-kusy, ve kterých bylo testováno 10 odrůd cibule, z toho byly 4 ozimé a 6 jarních. U jed-notlivých odrůd byl stanoven výnos cibulí a jejich kvalita. Při hodnocení kvality byla hlavní pozornost zaměřena na hodnocení slupky a skladovatelnost cibulí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis on the topic: "The influence of the variety of onion on its yieldand quality" deals with the issue of its cultivation. The theoretical part describes the botanical characteristics of onions. It also deals with the requirements on the environ-ment and nutrition. Describes ways of growing winter and spring variants of onions. It describes the types of harvest, harvesting procedures, storage and its conditions. In the practical part, two-year experiments were established, in which 10 varieties of onion were tested, of which 4 were winter and 6 spring. For individual varieties were deter-mined the yield of onions and their quality. In the quality assessment, the main focus was on the evaluation of the peel and the storability of the onions.
