Analysis of the balance of payments of Ukraine from 2011 to 2021

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou platební bilance Ukrajiny od roku 2011 do roku 2021. Cílem práce je analýza vývoje klíčových sald platební bilance Ukrajiny a popsání dopadů války na jednotlivá salda. Dalším cílem je analýza vlivu platební bilance na měnový kurz a predikce budoucího vývoje klíčových sald. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojem platební bilance jako statistického výkazu, popisuje účty platební bilance dle manuálu BPM6, charakterizuje pojem vnější ekonomická rovnováha, investiční pozice a zahraniční zadluženost. První kapitola praktické částí je věnovaná analýze platební bilance, investiční pozice a zahraniční zadlužeností Ukrajiny. Druhá kapitola praktické části je zaměřena na analýzu vlivu platební bilance na měnový kurz a na predikce budoucího vývoje klíčových sald.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the analysis of the balance of payments of Ukraine from 2011 to 2021.The aim of the thesis is to analyze the development of Ukraine's key balance of paymentsnet balances and to describe the effects of the war on these balances. Another objective is to analyze the impact of the balance of payments on the exchange rate and to forecast further development of key balance of payments net balances. The thesis is dividedinto two main parts. The theoretical part explains the concept of the balance of payments as a statistical report, describes the balance of payments accounts according to the BPM6 manual, characterizes the concepts of external economic balance, investment position and external debt of Ukraine. The second section which is the practical part is devoted to the analysis of the impact of the balance of payments on the exchange rate and the forecast of further development of key net balances.
