Management claims in company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou řízení pohledávek z obchodního styku. Práce vyzdvihuje důležitost optimálního řízení pohledávek pro finanční situaci a zdraví společnosti. Teoretická část se věnuje metodice řízení pohledávek a jednotlivým nástrojům jejich řízení a vymáhání. Praktická část se nejdříve věnuje představení společnosti a jejímu předmětu podnikání, ale hlavním úkolem je analýza současného stavu řízení pohledávek. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit stávající systém řízení pohledávek v konkrétní stavební společnosti za použití informací v teoretické části a vytvořit návrh na efektivnější proces řízení pohledávek. Cílem je analyzovat skutečnost, jak může splatnost pohledávek a platební morálka zákazníků ovlivnit cash-flow společnosti, její finanční řízení a postavení na trhu.

Abstract:

This bachelor-degree thesis deals with management of claims. It emphasises the importance of optimal management of claims for the company's financial good standing. The theoretical part considers the methodology of management of claims and tools used for such management, as well as for recovery of claims. The practical part first introduces the company and its subject of business, but mainly focuses on an analysis of the current state of the management of claims. The main goal is to evaluate the system currently used for the management of claims in a particular civil-engineering company on the basis of the information described in the theoretical part, and to create a proposal of a more efficient process governing the management claims. Another aspect is how the claims due to be paid and customers' payment discipline may affect the company's cash-flow, its financial management, and its position on the market.
