Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Finanční krize v USA a její příčiny“ je analýza příčin a souvislostí, které vedly ke vzniku finanční krize, společně s řešeními, které mají dopady krize zmírnit a odvrátit opakování podobné krize v budoucnosti. Samotná práce je rozdělena na čtyři hlavní kapitoly. První kapitola se zabývá definováním finanční krize a poskytuje stručný pohled do historie finančních krizí. Druhá kapitola popisuje události, které se odehrály před propuknutím finanční krize a které měly na krizi nepřímý vliv. Třetí kapitola analyzuje hlavní příčiny, které vzniku krize bezprostředně předcházely a měly na něj zásadní vliv. Čtvrtá kapitola je zaměřena na problémy ve finančních institucích, které znamenaly faktický vznik krize, a poskytuje výčet možností eliminace, které mají opakování krize zabránit.

Abstract:

The aim of submitted thesis „The financial crisis in the U.S. and its causes“ is to analyse causes and connections, which led to the financial crisis along with solutions to mitigate the effects of the crisis and prevent the recurrence of similar crises in the future. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of financial crisis and provides a brief insight into the history of financial crises. The second chapter describes the events that took place before the financial crisis and that possessed an indirect influence on it. The third chapter analyses the main causes of the crisis that immediately preceded it and had a major impact. The fourth chapter focuses on the problems in financial institutions, which climaxed into the actual emergence of the crisis and provides a list of possible solutions to prevent another meltdown.
