Carsharing in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá sdílenou ekonomikou se zaměřením na sdílení aut v České republice. Cílem této práce je zmapování nabídky aut a společností věnujících se sdílení aut, poptávky po této službě, cenový přehled konkurence a byznys modelů, které společnosti užívají. Teoretická část této práce popisuje podnikatelské modely obchodních společností, které v tuzemsku na daném trhu operují, jejich zaměření a růst. Dále stanovuje metody výzkumu zákaznických preferencí a definuje sdílení aut jako takové. Praktická část vyhodnocuje rozsáhlé dotazníkové šetření zaměřené jak na stranu poptávky po sdílených automobilech, tak nabídku vozidel v rámci P2P carsharingových platforem a preferencí jejich účastníků.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis on sharing economy with focus on carsharing within the Czech Republic. Aim of this thesis is to cover the supply of cars and companies in this growing industry, as well as the demand for the cars offered within carsharing platforms, together with the price overview of the competitors and business models companies use.Theoretical part of this thesis describes business models of companies operating in the industry within the domestic market, their focus and growth. Furthermore, the theoretical part sets methods of research of customer preferences and defines carsharing.Practical part evaluates thorough survey focused on the demand for shared cars as well as the supply of carsharing within P2P platforms and preferences of the users within the industry of carsharing.
