Analysis of fiscal efficiency and the impact of investment incentives on employment

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou investičních pobídek na území České republiky. Cílem práce je fiskálně analyzovat investiční pobídky. K dosažení cíle byla vytvořena cost-benefit analýza čerpající z dat zveřejňovaných v účetních závěrkách a odhadu odvodů z mezd, které vystupují jako výnosy veřejných rozpočtů. Na základě porovnání výsledků 38 firem se investiční pobídky jeví jako fiskálně efektivní nástroj.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of investment incentives in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to fiscally analyze investment incentives. To achieve the goal, a cost-benefit analysis was created, drawing on data published in the financial statements and an estimate of wage levies, which act as public budget revenues. Based on a comparison of the results of 38 companies, investment incentives appear to be a fiscally efficient tool.
