Motorway D3 and its economic a social impacts

Abstract:

Dálnice jsou rozsáhlé a velmi významné stavby. Ale výstavba je komplikovaná a velice zdlouhavá. Projekt dálnice D3 od svého začátku postupuje velice pomalu. Tato stavba je významná nejen pro Českou Republiku, ale i pro Evropskou unii. Je zařazena do doplňkové sítě TINA. Dálnice D3 má navazovat na Pražský okruh a dále pokračovat kolem Tábora, Českých Budějovic k rakouským hranicím, zde se pak napojí na rakouskou dálniční síť. Dálnice D3 končí u obce Třebonín, který leží 10 km jižně od Českých Budějovic, dále stavba pokračuje, jako rychlostní komunikace R3. Tato stavba je stejně důležitá, jako dálnice D3 a je s ní bezprostředně spojena. Výstavba nepokračuje podle plánů a naráží na řadu problémů, hlavně ve Středočeském kraji. Některé obce jsou silně proti současnému návrhu dálnice. Naopak v Jihočeském kraji, si dálnice D3 a rychlostní komunikace R3, našla řadu příznivců. Vniklo dokonce sdružení, podporující dostavbu dálnice D3. Současná doprava v Českých Budějovicích je velice problémová, a dálnice má sloužit i jako obchvat města. Proto jsou lidé v Jižních Čechách pro rychlou výstavbu kolem Českých Budějovic. Dnes již je v provozu 42 km dálnice z přibližně 175 km. I když se stavba dálnice D3 stává prioritou současné vlády, její dokončení nelze přesně určit, vše bude záležet na rozpočtu a legislativních krocích.

Abstract:

Highways are large and highly significant constructions. However, their construction is complicated and time consuming. Since its beginning, the highway D3 project has been progressing rather slowly. This construction is important not only for the Czech Republic but also for the European Union. It is included in the supplementary TINA network. The highway D3 is supposed to follow the Prague ring road and continue around Tábor, Českých Budějovic and farther to the Austrian border where then will be connected to the Austrian highway network. The highway D3 ends by the town of Třebonín which lies 10 km south of Českých Budějovic. Later on the construction continues as the expressway R3. This building is as important as D3 and is immediately connected to it. The construction does not progress as it has been planned and faces several problems, mainly in the Central Bohemian Region. Some municipalities are strongly against the current highway proposal project. On the contrary, in the Southern Bohemian Region the highway D3 and expressway R3 found many supporters. Even an association supporting the completion of the highway D3 has been founded. Currently, the transportation in Českých Budějovicích has been rather problematic, therefore, the highway is going to serve as a ring road to the city. That is one of the reasons why the inhabitants of Southern Bohemia have been for its rapid construction around the city of Českých Budějovic. Nowadays, there are 42 km of the highway already in operation, out of approximately 175 km. Although the construction of the highway D3 has become a priority of the current government, its completion can not be accurately determined. Everything depends on the budget and legislative processes.
