The Spatial Arrangement of Classrooms in Brno

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá prostorovým uspořádáním tříd v Brně. Hlavními cíli jsou zmapovat, jaké druhy uspořádání se v Brně využívají a proč učitelé volí jiné než standardní uspořádání třídy. První polovina teoretické části se zabývá popisem pojmů důležitých pro pochopení vlivu prostorového uspořádání třídy a prostorovým uspořádáním ve vzdělávání. Druhá polovina teoretické části je věnovaná prostorovému uspořádání a jeho druhům. Empirická část je zaměřena na zkoumání uspořádání tříd v Brně a důvodům, které vedou učitele k volbě alternativního uspořádání.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the spatial arrangement of classes in Brno. The main goals are to map what kinds of arrangements are used in Brno and why teachers don´t choose standart arrangement in classroom. The first half of theoretical part deals with the explanation for terms which are importanat for understanding room arrangement in classroom and the concept of room arrangement in education. The second half of theoretical part is devoted to the spatial arrangement and its forms. The empirical part focuses on the research of the arrangement in classrooms in Brno and the reasons that lead teachers to choose an alternative arrangement.
