The wounds of Christ as an expression of the kenoticity of the person

Abstract:

Práce si klade za cíl zodpovědět otázku po ranách Kristových, nezacelených ani po vzkříšení Kristově, a to v kontextu pojmů osoby, těla a jejich vzájemného vztahu, dále v kontextu interpretace ran Kristových v dějinách teologie a spirituality, jakož i v kontextu pojmu kenoze v jeho širokém dějinném i tematickém rozprostření, v hledání vzájemných souvislostí, které mohou napomoci pochopení významu Kristových navěky nezacelených ran, které nejsou úkazem nahodilým, ale součástí Božího sebezjevení a sebesdílení člověku.

Abstract:

The thesis aims to answer the question of the wounds of Christ, not healed even after the resurrection of Christ, in the context of the concepts of person, body and their mutual relationship, as well as in the context of the interpretation of the wounds of Christ in the history of theology and spirituality, as well as in the context of the concept of kenosis in its broad historical and thematic spread, in the search for interrelations in these themes which can help to understand the meaning of Christ's eternally unhealed wounds, which are not an accidental phenomenon but part of God's self-revelation and self-sharing to man.
