Európska občianska iniciatíva ako nástroj budovania európskeho verejného priestoru

The European Citizens Initiative as a tool for building the European Public Sphere
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the tool of the European Citizens' Initiative in terms of its effectiveness in building the European Public Sphere. It is embedded in the concept of deliberative democracy of Jürgen Habermas. An important source of research data is a questionnaire survey among a selected sample of European Citizens' Initiatives.

Cieľom práce je analyzovať nástroj európskej občianskej iniciatívy z hľadiska jeho efektivity pri budovaní európskeho verejného priestoru, ktorý napomáha absencii demokratického deficitu v Európskej únii.
