Cost Analysis of Diagnosis and Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je identifikace a vyčíslení nákladů vznikající v důsledku diagnostiky a léčby idiopatických střevních zánětů ve Všeobecné fakultní nemocnici na klinice Gastroenterologie a hepatologie. Hlavní pozornost je věnována právě nákladové analýze lékařských postupů, které jsou v rámci zdravotnického zařízení prováděny, avšak s ohledem na jejich reálný ekonomický průběh v praxi kliniky. V teoretické části práce je vymezen teoreticko-terminologický aparát, který charakterizuje idiopatické střevní záněty z medicínského hlediska, na který dále navazuje farmakoekonomická analýza. V praktické části práce je vycházeno z poznatků, které jsou uvedeny v teoretické části a s jejich pomocí je proveden výzkum zaměřený na analýzu nákladovosti idiopatických střevních zánětů pro ambulantní i hospitalizační péči a zjištění influence dílčích diagnostických a terapeutických kroků na celkové náklady. Nákladová analýza je prováděna za období 2012.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis are identification and calculation of cost incipient in consequences of diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases in the General faculty hospital in the clinic of Gastroentology and hepatology. The main attention is dedicated to cost analysis of medical procedures, which are performed in the medical facility, but with a real perspective in its economical running in experience of the clinic. In the theoretical part of the thesis is defined a theoretical and terminological apparatus, which characterizes inflammatory bowel dieases from a medical point of view, which continues with a pharmacoeconomics analysis. The practical part of the thesis is based on findings, which are mentioned in the theoretical part and with their help is performed a research focused on the cost analysis of inflammatory bowel diseases for ambulant and hospital care and covering influence on component diagnostic and therapeutic steps on total costs. Cost analysis is performed for the period of 2012.
