Destruction of architecture during the Hussite movement of archaeological perspective.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem husitského obrazoborectví a jeho dopadu na sakrální objekty a jejich vybavení. Rozebírá otázku motivací a zároveň přináší srovnání s časově i územně jinými projevy ikonoklasmu. Práce obsahuje databázové shrnutí sakrálních staveb, které byly zasaženy nějakým stupněm destrukce v rozmezí husitské revoluce. V následném vyhodnocení databázové tabulky práce přináší poznatky o podílu jednotlivých mocenských struktur na ničení církevní architektury, místopisné rozložení objektů, stupeň a nejběžnější způsob destrukce a v neposlední řadě srovnání archeologických pramenů se soudobými prameny písemnými.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's thesis focused on collecting the numbers of existing pieces of knowledge about iconoclasm of Hussite's period and it's impact on destruction of sacral architecture. The work include database of the sacral objects, which were affected by any degree of the destruction during the Hussite's revolution. The database deals the problems about e.g. date of assault sacral objects, identification confession of destroyer, degree of damage, location of buildings in the landscape from the point of the view of the military strategy, fortification of the objects and etceteras.
