Modern methods of information collecting in the County inteligence area

Abstract:

Diplomová je zaměřena na popis nejmodernějších metod sběru informací v oblasti country inteligence, jež úzce souvisí se svobodou jednotlivce. Práce obsahuje několik tématických celků. První část se zabývá rozdělením a popisem aktivit sběru strategických informací. Druhá část pojednává o sběru informací pomocí zpravodajských satelitů. Věnuje se organizacím, které se tímto sběrem zabývají a k čemu takové informace využívají. Dále popisuje možnosti přístupu veřejnosti k tomuto druhu informací, jakým způsobem jsou tyto informace přínosné i jaká představují nebezpečí. Třetí část se věnuje globálnímu odposlouchávacímu systému Echelon. Zabývá se jeho vývojem a historií, popisuje, jak systém pracuje, jaké komunikační kanály odposlouchává, jaké zpravodajské služby jej provozují a jak se získanými informacemi nakládají. V kapitolách jsou také popsány příklady neetického zacházení s takto získanými informacemi. Poslední kapitola je věnována zamyšlení nad využitím těchto moderních technologií v souvislosti s pozvolnou a skrytou ztrátou svobody člověka. Kapitola pojednává, jak by se situace mohla v budoucnu vyvíjet a jak by mohlo být zpravodajským službám zabráněno sbírat o každém z nás citlivé soukromé informace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on description of the most modern methods of strategic information collecting which is closely associated with freedom of man in the country inteligence area. The thesis contains few thematic blocks. The first of them is considering about split and definition of the strategic information collecting. The second one describes the information collecting process which is executing by spy satellites. It´s focused on organisations description which are doing this kind of business and what are they using these informations for. This chapter even describes a public access options to this kind of informations, what advantages are comming from them and what is even their hidden danger. The third topic recounts the Echelon global tapping system. Writes about it´s development and history, describes how does the system work, what communications channel is able to monitor, what secret services is owned by and how do they handle of captured informations. The last chapter is given to consideration about usage of these instruments in connection with slow and hidden process of man freedom losing. The chapter describes how the situation could look like in the future and how could be secret information services prevent to collect privat and sensitive information about every man.
