Bakalářská práce se zabývá bezpečnostní situací v konkrétním regionu Jihomoravského kraje spolu se sociálně patologickými jevy. V úvodu se práce zaměřuje na pojmy z oblasti bezpečnosti a vymezuje právní normy regulující danou oblast, které se vztahují do okruhu zkoumaného tématu.
