Impact of borehole incrustation growth to groundwater chemistry

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem přirůstajících inkrustací v odběrovém vrtu na složení odebrané podzemní vody. Jde o teoretickou úvahu s inspirací v reálné situaci, kde vrt zasahující do dvou kolektorů čerpá podzemní vodu hlavně z horního kolektoru, bez ohledu na unifikovanou výstroj vrtu přes oba kolektory. K nasimulování situace a ověření předpokladu o vlivu narůstající inkrustace výstroje vrtu na změny v přítocích z obou kolektorů bylo použito numerického modelování v programu PMWIN. Dále byla porovnána výsledná data průtoků z obou kolektorů vzhledem k procentu zanesení perforace. Výsledky modelování potvrdily, že narůstající inkrustace ovlivňuje přítoky z jednotlivých kolektorů do odběrového vrtu a je pravděpodobnou příčinou postupných změn v chemickém složení čerpané podzemní vody.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of increasing incrustations in the sampling well on the composition of the abstracted groundwater. This is a theoretical consideration with inspiration in a real situation, where a well interfering with two collectors draws groundwater mainly from the upper collector, regardless of the unified well equipment through both collectors. Numerical modeling in the PMWIN program was used to simulate the situation and verify the assumption about the influence of the increasing incrustation of the well equipment on the changes in the inflows from both collectors. Furthermore, the resulting flow data from both collectors were compared with respect to the percentage of perforation fouling. The modeling results confirmed that the increasing incrustation affects the inflows from individual collectors to the sampling well and is a probable cause of gradual changes in the chemical composition of the pumped groundwater.
