Práce se zabývá zkoumáním fotofyzikálních a fotochemických vlastností vybraných oxidů uhlíku a potenciálním využitím těchto oxidů jako donorů oxidu uhelnatého. V literární části jsou popsány oxidy uhlíku, jejich syntézy a vlastnosti, dále také využití oxidu uhelnatého v terapeutické praxi a příklady donorů oxidu uhelnatého.
