Abstract:

Tématem této práce je trest smrti, jeho historický vývoj a současnost. Práce rovněž charakterizuje dnes využívané způsoby výkonu trestu smrti a vybrané historické způsoby. Není opomenuta ani diskuze mezi zastánci a odpůrci absolutního trestu a komparace hlavních argumentů obou skupin. Cílem práce je, vedle podání přehledu o trestu smrti jako takovém a utvoření si vlastního názoru, i posouzení možnosti znovuzavedení trestu smrti na našem území. Metodikou práce je vedle komparace argumentů především analýza.

Abstract:

The theme of this work is the death penalty, its historical development and present. The work also defines methods which are used nowadays, the death penalty and selected historical methods. Equally, it is not omitted a discussion of capital punishment and a comparison of main arguments of both groups. Target this work is, in addition to providing an overview of the death penalty in a common sense and the creation of own opinions, also evaluating a possibility of a reintroduction of the death penalty in our country. Methodology of the work is a comparison of arguments, especially analysis.
