Social and Economic Impacts of Foreign Migration on Regional Development

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zahraniční migrace. Zaměřuje se na definování základních pojmů, které souvisejí s migrací, dále popisuje legislativu upravující zaměstnávání a pobyt cizinců na území České republiky. Závěrečná část se zabývá rozborem života cizinců v oblasti východočeského regionu. Tato výzkumná analýza je provedena na základě strukturovaných rozhovorů s cizinci a s představiteli specializovaných institucí a zaměřuje se zejména na pracovní a životní podmínky a integraci cizinců.

Abstract:

This bachelor work deals with foreign migration. It focuses on defining the basic concepts related to migration and then describes the legislation governing the employment and residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The final section deals with the analysis of the lives of foreigners in the East Bohemian region. This research analysis is performed on the basis of structured interviews with foreigners and with representatives of specialized institutions and focuses especially on working and living conditions and integration of foreigners.
