Possibilities of using sociometry to diagnose aggressive behaviour in the school environment

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe all relevant aspects of aggressive behavior and diagnose them with help of sociometric methods. My work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes sociometry, creating of sociometric questionnaire and evaluation of sociometric questionnaire. The second chapter focuses on aggression and bullying. In the last chapter I describe a small social group and school class. The empirical part describes the data acquisition, their evaluation and the summary. By using of sociometric questionnaire and sociometric matrix I identified in each class students who frequently behave aggressively. In the conclusion of his work, I focus on my goals, whether I achieved it and how can I use them.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej bakalárskej práce je popísať všetky relevantné aspekty agresívneho chovania a diagnostikovať ich za pomoci sociometrickej metódy. Moja práca sa skladá z teoretickej a praktickej časti. V teoretickej časti popisujem sociometriu, tvorbu sociometrického dotazníka a vyhodnocovanie sociometrického dotazníka. Druhá kapitola sa zameriava na agresiu a šikanovanie. V poslednej kapitole popisujem malú sociálnu skupinu a školskú triedu. V empirickej časti popisujem získavanie dát, ich vyhodnocovanie a na záver zhrnutie. Pomocou sociometrického dotazníku a sociomettrickej matice sa mi podarilo v každej triede indentifikovať žiakov, ktorí sa najčastejšie chovajú agresívne. V závere svojej práce sa zameriavam na svoj cieľ, do akej miery sa mi ho podarilo splniť a ako by sa dané údaje dali ďalej využiť.
