Montesquieu's Theory of Division of Powers and its influence on the Constitution of the U.S.A.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce obsahuje výklad Montesquieuovy teorie dělby politické moci jako pojistky proti despotismu. Ve své první části si všímá historicko-politického kontextu, ve kterém Montesquieu žil a tvořil. Poté zahrnuje výklad Montesquieuovy teorie dělby moci. Ve své druhé části pojednává práce o aplikaci této teorie v Ústavě USA.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is about Montesquieu's doctrine of separation of political powers as a safeguard against despotism. The first part takes note of historical and political context in which Montesquieu lived and worked. After that is provided an interpretation of Montesquieu's theory of separation of powers. The second part discusses on the application of this theory on the US Constitution.
