The thesis focuses on the interconnection of two educational subjects at primary school, Czech language and Civics. It critically monitors how literature reflects contemporary social issues. Based on this reflection and topics of civic education defined by the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education, it selects and processes selected literary texts into worksheets.
