The Confusions of Young Torless: an adaptation of the novel to the stage by Dušan Pařízek
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with dramatization of a novel Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß writen by Austrian writer Robert Musil. The thesis analyzes Dušan David Pařízek’s czech-german theatre coproduction which was showed in 2005 at the festival in Salzburg. The thesis works with a period criticism. It compares the Pařízek´s production and Volker Schlöndorff film adaptation.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá dramatizací románu Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß rakouského spisovatele Roberta Musila. Analyticky rozebírá koprodukční česko-německou inscenaci Dušana Davida Pařízka, premiérově uvedenou v roce 2005 v rámci festivalu Salzburger Festspiele. Práce neopomíná ani zmapovat dobovou kritiku a srovnání Pařízkovy inscenace s filmovým zpracováním Volkera Schlöndorffa …more
