Influence of electrostimulation on development of strenght abilities of lower limbs

Abstract:

V naší diplomové práci zkoumáme vliv elektrostimulace na rozvoj silových schopností dolních končetin, konkrétně čtyřhlavého svalu stehenního. V teoretické části se věnujeme silovým schopnostem, jejich determinantám a základním metodám rozvoje síly. Dále se také zabýváme svalovým stahem, složením svalu a samotnou elektrostimulací. V části praktické představujeme vlastní výzkum, který jsme provedli na souboru pěti probandů, prezentujeme výsledky a diskuzi k nim.

Abstract:

In our diploma thesis we are trying to find some influence of electrostimulation on development of strenght abilities of lower limbs, especialy strenght of quadriceps femoris. In a theoretical part we are discusing about strenght abilities and their improvement and about determninnants of strenght. Also about muscle contraction, structure of muscle and electrostimulation. In a practical part we are presenting our research, results and discusing about them.
