Abstract:
Těžké kovy jsou chemické prvky, které mají negativní vliv na organismus člověka i živočichů. Při větším obsahu kovů v půdě se ukládají do rostlin a živočichů a jejich vyšší koncentrace může být smrtelná. Živočichové a rostliny se mohou stát potravou pro jiné živočichy a tak může dojít ke kumulaci těžkých kovů v potravním řetězci. Heavy metals are chemical elements which have a negative impact on the human organism and animals. At higher metal content in soil is stored in plants and animals, and higher concentrations can be fatal. Animals and plants may become food for other animals and the consequence is the accumulation of heavy metals in a food chain.
