Different illustrations of the anti-war theme in two works from the World War I
Abstract:
This thesis deals with comparing of two contemporary novels with anti-war theme, that take place during World War I. The subject of my research is a novel Karl und Anna from Leonhard Frank, author of the second book Im Westen nichts Neues is Erich Maria Remarque. I deal with interpretation, analysis, comparison and finding common themes.
Abstract:
Ve své práci se zabývám srovnáním dvou soudobých románů s protiválečnou tématikou, odehrávajících se v průběhu první světové války. Předmětem mého zkoumání je román Karl und Anna od Leonharda Franka, autorem druhé knihy Im Westen nichts Neues je Erich Maria Remarque. Zabývám se interpretací, analýzou, srovnáním a hledáním společných témat.
