Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the typology of the female characters in three different works by the Prague-German writer, Max Brod; who is of Jewish heritage. The novels, Das tschechische Dienstmädchen (1909), Leben mit einer Göttin (1924), and Die Frau, die nicht enttäuscht (1933) are herein analyzed. Diplomová práce se zabývá typologií ženských postav ve třech románech pražského německého spisovatele židovského původu Maxe Broda. Analyzovány jsou romány Česká služka (Das tschechische Dienstmädchen, 1909), Život s bohyní (Leben mit einer Göttin, 1924) a Žena, která nezradí (Die Frau, die nicht enttäuscht, 1933).
