Convergence of Fourier series

Abstract:

In this bachelor's thesis, we deal with the issue of convergence of trigonometric Fourier series with an emphasis on pointwise and uniform convergence. We present the most well-known criteria for convergence, such as Dini's, Jordan's, Dirichlet's and Lebesgue's criterion. In addition, we also study the convergence of Fourier series with respect to a general orthogonal system of functions in the norm of the Hilbert space and we present the Riesz-Fischer theorem as one of the most important results.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabýváme problematikou konvergence trigonometrických Fourierových řad s důrazem na bodovou a stejnoměrnou konvergenci. Představujeme nejznámější kritéria pro konvergenci, jako jsou Diniovo, Jordanovo, Dirichletovo a Lebesgueovo kritérium. Kromě toho se věnujeme i konvergenci Fourierových řad vzhledem k všeobecnému ortogonálnímu systému funkcí v normě Hilbertova prostoru a uvádíme Rieszovu-Fischerovu větu jako jeden z nejdůležitějších výsledků.
