Cílem bakalářské práce bylo shrnout současné poznatky o významu cyklooxygenázy-2 (COX-2) pro metastatické šíření nádorových buněk, jejich invazivní potenciál a schopnost stimulovat angiogenezi. Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to review current knowledge about the role of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in metastasis of tumors, invasivity and angiogenesis. COX-2 is the inducible form of enzyme which catalyses the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid.
