Abstract:

This thesis analyses the use of the English language in the Czech media. On the basis of the reseach of Lidové noviny, it describes various grades of English loanwords according to the level of their adjustment to the Czech orthography and pronunciation. It studies the suitability of the use of anglicisms in a Czech sentence and their liguistic features.
