Pohádka o Popelce je známá téměř po celém světě, má však mnoho variant. Předkládaná diplomová práce si dává za cíl analyzovat literární tradici českých a norských variant této pohádky. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na filmovou variantu Tři oříšky pro Popelku (1973), která se stala kulturním fenoménem a součástí vánočních tradic v obou zemích. The Cinderella fairy tale is known all over the world, yet it has many variants. The goal of the presented Master thesis is to analyse the literary tradition of the Czech and Norwegian variants of this fairy tale.
