Cílem práce je specifikovat právní postavení České národní banky (dále jen „ČNB). Zmapovat její pravomoci v oblasti měnové politiky se zaměřením na historický vývoj, a vymezit pravomoci ČNB v oblasti dohledu nad bankami se zjištěním zákonných postupů a institutů, které jsou při dohledu využívány.
