The bachelor's thesis is based on novels „La Place de l’Étoile“ and „Dora Bruder“ in which it analyses and compares the motives of search for identity during the military occupation. The analysis focuses on characters, narrators, time and space. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the author himself and his identity in connection with the two novels. Abstract:
Bakalářská diplomová práce vychází z románů Patricka Modiana „La Place de l’Étoile“ a „Dora Bruder“, u nichž analyzuje a porovnává motiv hledání identity v atmosféře Okupace. Analýza se zaměřuje na postavy, vypravěče, čas a prostor. Poslední fáze práce je věnována samotnému autorovi a jeho identitě na základě analýzy děl. Cílem práce je tedy zkoumat způsoby hledání identity jak postav, tak autora.
