Zmrazování a lyofilizace vodných roztoků jsou techniky široce používané při výrobě biologických látek, které umožňují flexibilitu výroby a zvýšenou skladovatelnost materiálu. Kyselost je klíčovým faktorem pro stabilitu sloučenin jak v roztoku, tak v lyofilizovaných produktech.
