Forest pedagogy in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá koncepcí, základními cíli a historií lesní pedagogiky v České republice se zaměřením na Moravskoslezský kraj. Praktická část práce je věnována empirickému výzkumu, jehož cílem je zjistit a zhodnotit jednotlivé postoje žáků 4. ročníků vybraných základních škol v Moravskoslezském kraji k lesnímu hospodářství. Dílčím cílem je zjistit, zda žáci absolvovali návštěvu v lesní škole a také jak často navštěvují les. Pro účel průzkumného šetření byl využit dotazník, který byl distribuován žákům konkrétních základních škol v Moravskoslezském kraji. Na základě výsledků šetření lze konstatovat, že žáci mají základní povědomí o úloze lesa v ekosystému a jsou pozitivně naladěni k osvojování si nových vědomostí týkajících se lesního prostředí. Výsledky šetření lze považovat pouze jako pilotáž, zkoumaná oblast nabízí prostor pro rozsáhlejší výzkum, například v rámci magisterské práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the concept, the basic goals and the history of the forest pedagogy in the Czech Republic with focus on the Moravian-Silesian Region. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to an empirical research that aims to identify and evaluate the attitudes of the selected primary school pupils to the forest economy in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The partial aim of the thesis is to identify the attendance of the pupils in the forest school and how often they visit the forest. For the purpose of the empirical research the questionnaire was used. It was distributed to the pupils of the selected primary schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Based on the results it can be concluded that students have a basic knowledge about the role of the forest ecosystem and they are willing to acquire new knowledge regarding forest environment. Results of the research can be considered only as a piloting, the research area offers a space for further research, for example in the context of the master's thesis.
