Historical locust invasions in Central Europe as an indicator of climatic patterns
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá řešením vztahu mezi historickými nálety sarančat a klimatem, které v dané oblasti v období výskytu sarančat panovalo. Analyzují se dosavadní poznatky o výskytu sarančat se zřetelem na povětrnostní podmínky a další okolnosti, které při náletu sarančat figurovaly. Rešeršní části je věnována druhá a třetí kapitola. The bachelory thesis deals with relationship between historical locustinvasion and climate in the region during the occurrence of locusts. Existing knowledge about the occurrence of locusts is analyzed with emphasis on weather patterns and other circumstances of locust outbreak.
