Abstract:
Genus Aeromonas consists of high number of valid recognized taxa, often showing unusuall or atypical properties, which results in difficult identification of these bacteria to the species level. In this work, 84 strains of aeromonads isolated from water and clinical samples have been characterized. With phenotypic methods only 40 % of all isolates could be identified. Rod Aeromonas se skládá z vysokého počtu validně popsaných taxonů, často s neobvyklými nebo atypickými reakcemi, což se promítá do náročné druhové identifikace těchto bakterií. V rámci této práce bylo charakterizováno 84 kmenů aeromonád izolovaných z vod a humánního klinického materiálu.
