V teoretické části této diplomové práce je popsáno norma OBD a palubní diagnostika vozidla. Norma OBD vychází z amerického základu a primárně se zabývá sledováním emisí výfukových plynů. Během vývoje prošla několika změnami a nyní v Evropě platí od roku 2007 její modifikace EOBD, která je platná pro všechna osobní vozidla. In the theoretical part of this thesis is describes the OBD standard and vehicle on-board diagnostics. OBD standard based on the US base and primarily deals with the monitoring of exhaust emissions. During the development has undergone several changes and now from 2007 is in Europe its modification - EOBD, which is valid for all passenger vehicles.
