The Development of the Judiciary

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o vývoji organizace a správy soudnictví, a to od feudálního období, přes počátky konstitucionalismu, období meziválečné republiky, Protektorát Čechy a Morava a socialistické soudnictví až do dnešních dnů. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou řazeny v časové posloupnosti. Cílem práce je popsat historii a vývoj, jehož důsledkem je dnešní stav tohoto oboru. V závěru jsou zmíněny dosavadní reformy a naznačen pravděpodobný směr dalšího vývoje, týkající se soudcovské samosprávy a soudcovských rad.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the development of the organization and administration of justice, from the feudal period, despite the beginnings of constitutionalism, the interwar period of the Republic, the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and socialist justice to this day. The chapters are arranged in time sequence. The aim is to describe the history and development, resulting in the current state of the industry. At the end of the current reforms are discussed and outlined the likely direction of future development, regarding judicial self-government and judicial councils.
