The Social Stratification of a Municipality

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá sociální stratifikací ve vybrané obci, v tomto případě ve městě Lomnice nad Lužnicí. Hlavním cílem je ukázat sociální strukturu obyvatelstva v této lokalitě a aplikovat ji na jeden ze současných stratifikačních modelů. Teoretická část tvoří úvod do problematiky sociální stratifikace, vysvětlení a definování základních pojmů vztahujících se k dané problematice, seznámení s demografickými údaji města Lomnice nad Lužnicí a metodami používanými při měření sociální stratifikace. V praktické části bude provedeno zpracování, analýza a zhodnocení údajů, které povedou k vytvoření stratifikačních modelů.

Abstract:

This work deals with social stratification in the selected village, in this case in the town Lomnice nad Lužnicí. The main aim is to show the social structure of the population in that area and apply it to one of the current stratification models. The theoretical part is an introduction to the problems of social stratification, explanations and definitions of basic concepts related to the topic, an introduction to demographic data of the town Lomnice nad Lužnicí and methods used for measuring social stratification. The practical part will be done processing, analysis and evaluation of data that will lead to a creation of stratification models.
