Benzo[c]phenanthridinové alkaloidy – mechanizmy ovlivnění apoptózy a interakce s DNA

Benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids – mechanisms of apoptosis induction and alkaloid-DNA interactions
Abstract:
Abstract:
Benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids exert relevant biological activities. They have antiproliferative and proapoptotic effect and therefore they are considered by many authors as agents with perspective in anticancer therapy. Besides these attributes, some of the alkaloids interact with DNA and in addition have fluorescent properties, hence they can be used as DNA probes.
