Emotional intelligence in relation to six-dimensional model of personality

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem mezi emoční inteligencí a osobnostními rysy šestifaktorového modelu osobnosti HEXACO. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. První tři kapitoly se zabývají emoční inteligencí, rysovými teoriemi osobnosti a šestifaktorovým modelem osobnosti HEXACO. Čtvrtá kapitola je zaměřena na vztahy mezi emoční inteligencí a Velkou pětkou a emoční inteligencí a modelem HEXACO. Výzkumná část této práce je zaměřena na zjištění povahy konkrétních vztahů mezi dimenzemi osobnosti podle modelu HEXACO a emoční inteligencí. Zabýváme se také rozdíly v celkové míře emoční inteligence dle pohlaví a zaměření oboru studentů vysokých škol.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between emotional intelligence and the personality traits of the six-factor model of personality (HEXACO). The work is devided into a theoretical and a research part. The first three chapters deal with emotional intelligence, trait theories of personality and the six-factor model of personality (HEXACO). The fourth chapter is focused on relationships between emotional intelligence and the Big Five, and between emotional intelligence and the HEXACO model. The research part of this work focuses on the nature of the specific relationships between the personality dimensions of the HEXACO model and emotional intelligence. We also deal with differences in emotional intelligence by gender and by field of study.
