Eugene of Savoy in the War of the Spanish Succession
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat a popsat vojenské tažení prince Evžena Savojského ve válce o španělské dědictví. Práce nabídne celkový náhled na jeho schopnosti velet armádě s důrazen na bitvy, které vedl proti francouzskému vojsku. Též nabídne náhled na Evženovu kooperaci s bristkým vojevůdcem Johnem Churchillem, vévodou z Marlborough.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and describe the military campaigns of Prince Eugene of Savoy in the War of the Spanish Succession. The work offers an overview on the ability to command the army, with an emphasis on the battles against the French army. It also offers a preview of Eugene cooperation with British allied commander John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough.
