Occurrence and flight dynamics of tortricid moths on the common grape vine in a peripheral area of its cultivation

Abstract:

V současnosti dochází v České republice k rozšiřování pěstování révy vinné i mimo oblasti stanovené vinařským zákonem. Tyto oblasti jsou označovány jako tzv. „okrajové oblasti“. Stejně jako v tradičních oblastech pěstování je důležité i v oblastech okrajových vytvořit systém ochrany proti škodlivým činitelům. Základní podmínkou funkčnosti systému je vytvořit spolehlivý monitoring, pomocí kterého je možno stanovit, zda se daný škodlivý činitel na sledované lokalitě vyskytuje, zda způsobuje hospodářsky významné škody a případně stanovit termín a způsob ošetření proti němu. Mezi nejvýznamnější škůdce révy vinné v obvyklých pěstitelských oblastech patří obaleč mramorovaný (Lobesia botrana) a obalečík jednopásný (Eupoecilia ambiguella). Vzhledem k tomu, že nelze pouze přebírat znalosti o těchto obalečích z oblastí, kde se réva vinná běžně pěstuje; je nutné ověřit možnosti monitorování těchto škůdců i v okrajových oblastech. Předložená práce se zabývala monitoringem výše uvedených škodlivých činitelů na lokalitě Rokytnice nad Rokytnou (okres Třebíč, Kraj Vysočina). Tato lokalita se nachází v bramborářské výrobní oblasti a je jednou z potenciálních okrajových oblastí pěstování. Sledování probíhalo v letech 2016–2020 a bylo prováděno pomocí feromonových lapačů Deltastop LB a Deltastop EA. Na základě získaných dat lze konstatovat, že výše uvedené feromonové lapače jsou vhodné pro sledování populační dynamiky těchto obalečů i v lokalitách s nízkým výskytem daných škůdců. Na sledované lokalitě se tito obaleči vyskytují, ale nezpůsobují hospodářsky významné škody. Kromě sledovaných druhů byla ve feromonových lapačích zaznamenána i přítomnost necílových druhů, zejména z čeledí Tortricidae, Noctuidae a Pyralidae.

Abstract:

At present, wine growing in the Czech Republic is expanding beyond the boundaries of areas stipulated in the Wine Act. These are referred to as "peripheral areas". As well as in traditional wine-growing areas, it is important to create a system of protection against harmful pests in peripheral areas. A basic precondition for the functionality of the system is to create reliable monitoring, which can be used to determine whether a given harmful pest occurs at the monitoring site, whether it causes significant economic damage and, if need be, set the date and method of treatment against it. The most important vineyard pests that affect the common wine growing areas include the European grapevine moth (Lobesia botrana) and the vine moth (Eupoecilia ambiguella). Given that it is not possible to simply take over the knowledge concerning these moths from areas where wine is commonly grown, it is also necessary to check the possibilities of monitoring these pests in peripheral areas. This diploma thesis deals with the monitoring of the above-mentioned harmful pests in the area of Rokytnice nad Rokytnou (Třebíč District, Vysočina Region). This site is located in a potato production area and is one of the potential peripheral wine-growing areas. The monitoring took place in 2016–2020 and was performed using pheromone traps type Deltastop LB and Deltastop EA. Based on the obtained data, it can be concluded that the above-mentioned pheromone traps are also suitable for monitoring the population dynamics of these moths at the sites with their low prevalence. Even though these moths occur at the monitoring site, they do not cause significant economic damage. In addition to the monitored species, the presence of non-target species, especially from the families Tortricidae, Noctuidae and Pyralidae, was revealed in the pheromone traps.
